Alexandre Birman is a brand founded by the eponymous Brazilian footwear designer (born October 1, 1976), sharing the same origins as the fashion label "Alexandre Birman." His trademark is known for using special animal skins such as snakeskin, crocodile leather, lizard, and ostrich leather. In November 2009, Alexandre Birman was awarded the "Vivian Infantino Emerging Talent Award" by the industry publication Footwear News.
