Black Girl Vitamins was founded with a clear mission: to provide Black women with unique nutrients and vitamins that mainstream brands often overlook. For years, vitamins and supplements were not tailored to the Black community, and the industry never prioritized the needs of Black women—needs that are unique and deserve thoughtful attention.
Our co-founder, Maxine, began learning more about the disparities Black women face in seeking and receiving healthcare. She decided to team up to address part of this healthcare gap and grow into providing more comprehensive healthcare services for Black women.
