Burleigh pottery is handmade. Established in 1851, we have years of experience and just as much passion, remaining true to the time-honored techniques that have earned our ceramics a worldwide reputation.
We use unique handcraft skills that are unmatched anywhere else in the world. Using hand-engraved copper rollers, our stunning floral patterns are printed onto tissue paper, then carefully applied to the pottery by Burleigh artisans. This allows us to achieve results that other potteries cannot match. Burleigh ware is made from a unique blend of fine clays, ensuring a luxurious look and feel as well as durability. All of this is done at the famous Middleport Pottery, the last surviving Victorian pottery in England, which has been in operation since 1889 in the UK and in our home.
