Carve Designs started with a surf trip to San Pancho, Mexico, taken by two friends, Jennifer Hinton and Thayer Sylvester. As we lounged in hammocks waiting for the waves to roll in, we lamented how hard it was to find swimwear that could keep up with us—real women with real bodies and a real passion for adventure. And so, Carve Designs was born.The Carve Designs aesthetic embodies our spirit: loving fun, working hard, being confident, and leaning into wherever we want to go.
Carve Designs began in 2003 as a surf apparel company selling rashguards and boardshorts, and has since grown into a complete beach lifestyle brand;offering surf, swim, balance, and lifestyle clothing.We are committed to providing relaxed women's clothing that truly fits real women, while keeping us connected to the feeling of calm content that inspires us at the beach.
