Circa Lighting was founded by Gale Singer in 1998 in Savannah, Georgia.Before moving to Savannah, Gale worked at Visual Comfort & Co., a leading decorative lighting manufacturer founded by her brother, Andy Singer. Recognizing that the lighting selection process can be overwhelming, Gale's vision was to revolutionize how lighting is sold.
In Savannah, Gale conceived a carefully curated lighting showroom where clients could shop in an inviting atmosphere. She found a 375-square-foot space in Savannah's historic district (truly curated), and the first showroom was born. Additionally, she wanted to ensure that engagement with interior designers, architects, and builders could offer a similar experience both locally and online, with thoughtfully selected products.
