William Grant & Sons is Scotland's largest independent whisky company, with the third-largest malt distillation capacity in the industry. It operates four malt distilleries: Balvenie, Glenfiddich, Kininvie, and Ailsa Bay, as well as the Girvan grain distillery, located in the same Ayrshire region as Ailsa Bay, where the main maturation and blending facilities are also situated. Bottling takes place at the Grant's Strathclyde Business Park facility near Glasgow.
