Czarina sits at the pinnacle of luxury "resort wear" in Australia. Designer Nikki Bagadia founded Czarina in 2011, dedicated to creating elegant silhouettes for every woman.
In 2015, after ending a 10-year relationship with a man whose eyes wandered, Czarina, originally from India, suddenly found herself single and living in Australia. She had two children to support, but also discovered many other seemingly insurmountable obstacles in her path. Instead of returning home, Czarina faced these challenges head-on, combining diligence and determination to use her circumstances to propel herself toward greater goals. Working long hours and days while managing production for other established brands, Czarina focused her attention beyond the 9-to-5 grind on building a company aligned with her own values. To blend her Indian heritage with Western aesthetics, she created her first collection of kaftans through India, and the Czarina brand was born.
