Since age 15, Delúvia co-founder Alicia has suffered from psoriasis and sought relief. This sparked the discovery of the benefits of the Dead Sea. Her family traveled to Israel to personally experience the miraculous properties of Dead Sea minerals, and the concept of Deluvia was born. They experienced such dramatic results that they decided to launch a Dead Sea product line. From there, it further developed into a complete product range, enhanced with organic aloe vera and other skin-beneficial special ingredients.
The name Delúvia comes from the geological term "Diluvium," which refers to sediment formed by floods—a fitting name for a product derived from the pure minerals of the Dead Sea. The company started as a family business and grew rapidly. Now, over a decade later, the company office and manufacturing facility span more than 7,500 square feet.
Delúvia Dead Sea Purifying Mud Mask quickly went viral, so the founder created a free skincare line to use alongside the mud for better results. To keep the product line as pure as possible, further development was carried out to create the current paraben-free product line.
