EVELOM is a brand founded by British beauty expert Eve Lom, named after herself. Eve Lom is a professional aesthetician. Born in Czechoslovakia, she settled in London, England in the early 1980s. While living in France, Eve developed a keen interest in cosmetic chemistry. She later moved to London to study anatomy, nutrition, and body massage techniques, and also traveled to China to learn acupuncture. In 1986, Eve launched the skincare brand EVELOM under her own name, and in 1984, the first Eve Lom beauty center opened in London.
Eve believes that the vast majority of women use too many products on their skin—applying makeup, then removing it, and attempting to repair their skin with a host of skincare products and beauty treatments. For Eve, a high-quality moisturizer should also be able to resist environmental pollution and the toxins of modern life.
