Rozae Nichols is an experienced fashion designer and a passionate vegan whose enthusiasm is expressed through her regenerative organic, urban garden, and animal rights activism. For over three decades, Rozae has designed women's clothing in an intimate, hands-on manner—from concept and creation of each individual sample garment to final production. Born and raised in Southern California, she began making her own clothes as a child. In the mid-1980s, Rozae moved to Paris, where she designed for and helped launch the brand and store of beloved surplus pioneer and friend Serge Bensimon at Marais - Auteur Du Monde. There, she further developed her approach to deconstructing and reconstructing garments.
Flora Animalia is a small, focused collection of practical products. Once again, using only clean Belgian linen and GOTS-certified organic cotton, produced locally (in-house), the styles are modern essentials—not trendy, but service-oriented, minimalist, and elegant. Her design philosophy and brand vision for this passionate project encapsulate everything she knows and loves.
