GAP is one of the largest clothing companies in the United States. When it was founded in 1969, it had only a handful of employees. It is a multinational corporation with five brands (GAP, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Athleta, Intermix), over 3,200 chain stores, annual revenue exceeding $13 billion, and 165,000 employees.
When talking about McFashion, it's hard to avoid GAP. This affordable fashion brand, once a global sensation, was associated with many celebrities back in the day—for example, Sharon Stone wore it to the Oscar颁奖晚会; and another reason the brand became so famous was actually Monica Lewinsky; that famous blue dress was also from GAP.
