JOHN ELLIOTT founded his eponymous brand in 2012. A California native from San Francisco, he had always planned to launch his own label. Combining personal inspiration with the rise of independent skate culture brands in his hometown, JOHN has been creating designs that resonate globally since childhood. ELLIOTT immerses himself in every layer of production, fully engaging in the design process from start to finish, including traveling the world to source and develop fabrics. The goal is to produce the highest quality garments with materials built to stand the test of time.
JOHN is the recipient of GQ’s Best New Designer Award and debuted his Fall/Winter 2015 runway collection in New York. Since then, he has presented eight shows at New York Fashion Week. ELLIOTT was named one of WWD’s Ten Tomorrows and was nominated for Menswear Designer of the Year at the CFDA Fashion Awards. He has collaborated with brands such as Nike, GAP, and the City of Los Angeles.
