Currently, users in all regions including the United States, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan can see the Walmart eBooks logo when visiting the Kobo website, though there is still a small line below that reads "by Rakuten Kobo." Through this partnership, Kobo's 6 million ebooks will enrich Walmart's limited physical book business, while Walmart will sell ebook gift cards through its 3,500 offline stores, and also sell Kobo e-readers through 1,000 stores and online channels.
