Initially, creating a namesake brand was not driven by ambition or a grand plan. After returning to LIYA's hometown of Tbilisi, Georgia, where the fashion scene was emerging with creative ideas and projects everywhere, it felt natural to start experimenting and developing her own signature label. Together with her cousin and business partner Anna, they initially focused on a children's clothing brand, but soon expanded and evolved into womenswear. In 2017, the contemporary womenswear brand LIYA was born.
All LIYA products are created in our studio and workshop.
