Molekule's mission is to provide clean air for everyone around the world. Molekule was founded to address the adverse effects of polluted air, fill the gap in the purification market, and aim to eliminate indoor air pollution by harnessing the power of science.
As a child, Molekule?President, Co-Founder, and Chief Technology Officer Dilip Goswami suffered from debilitating asthma and allergies. Frustrated by the lack of available remedies for Dilip's condition, his father, Dr. Yogi Goswami (Chief Scientist, Co-Founder), turned to science to tackle a key culprit: indoor air pollution. Through 25 years of intensive scientific research, Dr. Goswami and his research team created a groundbreaking new purification technology: PECO (Photoelectrochemical Oxidation), which now powers all Molekule air purifiers.
Seeing the role science played in her brother Dilip's life and experiencing the effectiveness of this technology firsthand, Jaya Rao (Co-Founder) was also inspired to share PECO technology with the world. The Stanford-educated engineers co-launched Molekule in 2014. Now, together with the entire global Molekule team, they are on a mission to harness the power of science to improve lives and solve some of the world's most serious problems.
