As a brand, Naghedi is committed to ethical and sustainable practices. Naghedi was founded with the goal of creating a classic, durable bag using the most advanced fabrics that are long-lasting, easy to clean, and simple to maintain. We work directly with our factories and visit them frequently to ensure the highest operational standards. Our bags are individually hand-woven, and our skilled weavers can only produce one or two bags per day. That said, we are also looking to expand our manufacturing relationships and continue exploring ways to produce sustainable products, such as using recycled and regenerated neoprene.
After nearly 20 years working in the accessories world, Sara Naghedi founded her namesake brand, Naghedi, in 2016. Tired of the wastefulness of seasonal fashion and handbags going out of style every few months, she set out to create a timeless, durable collection that could be carried season after season.Sara wanted to put an end to the need for constantly replacing bags that would ultimately be thrown away. Naghedi's iconic collection of hand-woven neoprene totes is designed with the modern woman's versatility and style in mind.
