Neous was co-founded by shoemaker Alan Buanne and former Harper’s Bazaar magazine editor Vanissa Antonious. Initially, creating their own footwear brand was not part of their career plans, but they discovered that most shoes on the market lacked exquisite craftsmanship at a relatively reasonable price. So they decided to fill this gap, and Neous was born. As it turned out, their decision was the right one. Neous adheres to a minimalist vintage style, using velvet and leather as its main materials, while incorporating design-forward metal details. By integrating design aesthetics into its creations, the brand has developed a strong identity, crafting a modern and chic urban woman image.
