Oakley was founded in the United States in 1975 by Jim Jannard. Main products: eyewear, athletic shoes, sportswear, watches, travel bags, leather wallets, and hats. Jim Jannard used unique pattern designs and a new material called Unobtainium to enhance grip and sweat-wicking performance for racers' hands on the handlebars. This became Oakley's first product. The product was awarded two technology patents, and Jannard established the Oakley brand with a spirit of groundbreaking innovation.
