Perkies was born from a university course that founder Rosie took during her junior year. Students were tasked with coming up with an idea to solve a customer pain point and developing a business plan around it. After years of terrible experiences with sticky bras—losing their stickiness, falling off when sweating, and getting dirty easily—Rosie came up with the idea of making a sticky bra with replaceable adhesive! After receiving extremely positive feedback on the idea itself and knowing there was a market for the product, Rosie decided to go all in and turn this much-needed product into reality.
By offering replaceable adhesive, Perkies provides fresh adhesive, clean bras, and a more affordable, sustainable solution for backless and strapless clothing. Rosie started working on this project through an entrepreneurship course she took at Brown, and has since created this one-of-a-kind product to solve sticky bra problems.
