Proactiv, also known as Proactiv Solution, is an American skincare brand developed by two American dermatologists, Katie Rodan and Kathy A. Fields. It was launched in 1995 by Guthy-Renker, a direct marketing company headquartered in California, and is endorsed by celebrities. The line includes moisturizers, body washes, and hair care products, but the brand is best known for its three-step acne-fighting system consisting of a cleanser, toner, and lotion. Proactiv+ is a reformulation of the three-step kit, launched in 2013.
