Roman Originals was founded in 1957. This family business began as a manufacturing company based in Birmingham. The company has retained its tradition and passion for women's fashion, developing and expanding its retail operations. Today, the company designs and manufactures its own collections of women's clothing and accessories, now retailed in over 150 stores across the UK.
The name Roman Originals is inspired by Italian fabrics and raw materials, as well as the unique approach of selling over 1,000 styles annually. The core collection includes daywear, evening wear, workwear, outerwear, special occasion attire, and a comprehensive range of bespoke accessories and hats. In 1994, the Roman Originals brand first entered the high street through franchising. In the late 1990s, the company began opening its own stores, initially in outlet centers nationwide.
