In 1964, Stanis?aw Ry?ko opened his own shoemaker's shop in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. Ry?ko entered the market, initially producing only men's shoes. The Beatles craze meant that the fashion of those years was largely inspired by the style of the Liverpool lads. Women's fashion was dominated by A-line skirts and miniskirts, while men's fashion featured skinny jeans, turtlenecks, and collarless jackets. From the very beginning, Ry?ko strived to keep up with the times, launching the most popular men's model of that era, commonly known as the "Beatle boot."
