Founded in 1911 in Turin, Italy, by Walter Martiny, Superga is known as Italy's national footwear brand. Named after the Italian basilica of Superga, the brand played a key role in popularizing canvas shoes across Europe and is considered one of the pioneers of the canvas shoe trend, alongside Keds and Converse. In 1925, Superga successfully developed the world's first rubber-soled canvas tennis shoe, the Classic 2750, and later launched a range of footwear suitable for both professional sports and everyday wear. Superga shoe designs feature a simple Italian elegance, combined with fabric materials that conform to the foot shape and vulcanized rubber construction, ensuring both comfort and durability.
