Target Optical is an optical company located inside Target stores across the United States. Target Optical was founded in 1995 by Cole National Corp in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2004, Cole National Corp was acquired by Italy's Luxottica S.p.A., which included other Cole National holdings such as Pearle Vision. Luxottica integrated Cole's operations into its North American retail group, and the Cole structure was dissolved. Target Optical is headquartered at the North American retail group headquarters in Mason, Ohio.
