Teva has been building a legacy since 1984. The first sport sandals appeared on the shores of the Grand Canyon as early as 1984. Out of the need to prevent sandals from floating downstream, a resourceful river guide strapped two Velcro straps onto an old pair of flip-flops. And so, Teva was born.
Every inch of Teva footwear is seen as a canvas. Our iconic straps are timeless and are constantly redesigned into various patterns, conceived by our designers from around the world. Starting in 2020, all iconic straps across our entire product line will be made from traceable, verifiable recycled plastic. We want those who follow us to freely explore the outdoors tomorrow, so we are reducing our footprint today.
