In 1974, Dr. Su Tianyou founded one of the earliest acupuncture schools in the United States in Boston—the New England School of Acupuncture. He introduced acupuncture to the West and raised awareness of traditional Chinese medicine, a feat largely attributed to him. His students described him as an evangelist for acupuncture and gua sha, claiming these practices could help treat almost any health condition.
At Wildling, our approach has a strong foundation in traditional Chinese medicine, refined by our co-founders Gianna de la Torre and Britta Plug. Gianna de la Torre is an acupuncturist with a master's degree in traditional Chinese medicine. Our in-house aestheticians train alongside top scientists and doctors to understand the lymphatic system and its impact on overall health.
