Yogasleep's story begins with a traveling salesman named Jim Buckwalter and his wife Trudy, who suffered from insomnia. Trudy often traveled with Jim and soon realized she slept better in motel rooms than at home. After some head-scratching, the couple concluded that the soothing hum of the air conditioning unit was the cure for Trudy's endless tossing and turning. So, through continuous experimentation, they created a machine to aid sleep.
Most of our products are made (Yogabed) or assembled (Dohm Classic and Dohm) in the United States—some by teammates who have been with our company for a long time, and their ears are part of the quality control process.
