Supereight is a premium retail brand that only sells the best skateboard products from brands we believe in. We are 100% independent, 100% skater-owned, and 100% skater-operated. Supereight was founded at the end of 2014, but didn't start trading until mid-2015, as Nick and I were finishing up our previous commitments in the skateboard industry's wholesale and distribution side. As skateboarding evolved, we both worked in the wholesale side of the industry, including (primarily) bringing brands from the US and selling them to UK skate shops. The brands we managed included Adio Footwear, DVS Shoes, Lakai Shoes, Neff Headwear, Girl and Chocolate skateboards, and many more. However, in 2015, that chapter of our careers was coming to an end, as the industry began to evolve and change as it always does. We saw an opportunity in the retail side of the business, and after a very brief meeting, it was set in motion, and Supereight was born.
Tikiboo Ltd was founded in May 2014 by newlyweds Faye and Daniel Jobbins. The concept originally stemmed from Faye's frustration with never being able to find fun and exciting activewear. As a fitness enthusiast, Faye found herself wearing sportswear more often than regular clothes and wanted something that would make her stand out from the crowd.
