Aureum was founded by co-founders and entrepreneurs Cass DiMicco and Matthew Hoyle. The couple, who come from backgrounds in fashion and finance respectively, share a passion for style and branding. They started their company from their New York apartment. Inspired by vintage collections and a modern approach to fashion, they set out to create luxury jewelry designed for everyday wear.
Aureum means "golden" in Latin (pronounced /or·e·um/), intended to evoke a sense of warmth and luxury. All pieces are plated in 24K gold or silver, crafted with quality, versatility, and aesthetics in mind.
