Plant BAXI S.p.A. has been manufacturing heating and hot water supply equipment for over 50 years. The company was founded in 1924 by the Austrian Westen family, who opened an enamel factory in Bassano del Grappa. Starting in 1968, the factory shifted to producing boiler equipment. At the end of 2009, the Baxi Group and the De Dietrich Remeha Group announced the formation of BDR Thermea, a new world-class company producing modern heating and hot water equipment. In 1993, BAXI S.p.A. was one of the first companies in the heating industry to obtain ISO 9001 international quality system certification.
