Jesse and Carly Burnett launched TKEES in 2009 with the goal of designing "barely there" casual sandals for the wearer. With the brand mission of being "cosmetics for the feet," TKEES shoes begin with a silhouette called the "bottom fabric," then add linings, shimmer, and other cosmetic-inspired colors to complement any skin tone and style aesthetic. Using natural leather, suede, patent leather in achromatic and glitter elements, the Toronto-based brand combines relaxed fits with a variety of shades to offer comfort, ease, and a sense of casualness.
