Dior presented its Spring/Summer 2021 collection at the Tuileries Garden in Paris, drawing inspiration from the everyday attire of British 20th-century feminist pioneer Virginia Woolf and American feminist writer Susan Sontag. Blending the brand's iconic Bar jacket with Japanese kimono tailoring, the collection showcases a romantic yet free-spirited, multifaceted femininity.

For handbags, matte blue, deep ochre, and light orange serve as the base tones. Through techniques like embroidery, dyeing, and laser cutting, vibrant paisley motifs adorn popular styles such as the Book Tote and Lady Dior. Also featured are the Bobby shoulder bag in crocodile leather and a new bucket bag with dangling fringe, giving the entire collection an exotic flair.

The standout piece for next spring and summer is undoubtedly the Book Tote. Its spacious, flat surface is either embellished with dazzling paisley patterns, entirely dyed in indigo floral prints, or etched with exotic motifs using laser-cut leather, showcasing the brand's exquisite craftsmanship.

The new Saddle bag is as exquisite as a wood carving, featuring layered, three-dimensional botanical motifs on its brown body created through laser cutting, offering an antique yet intricate visual effect.

The Lady Dior presents a striped body in solid colors achieved through embroidery, along with the Diorcamp messenger bag in classic Oblique canvas, making these relatively more suitable for everyday use.

The newly introduced clutch features a sleek, elongated rectangular silhouette with a fold-over flap design, accented by the classic CD buckle at the center. Its clean and simple shape exudes a touch of bold, sophisticated elegance.
